Jesus took bread , broke it and gave it to his disciples , saying , " This is my body which is given for you , do thi sin remembrance of me. He then took the cup of wine identifying it as new convenant in my blood. 

Placing the scene inside the cross itself is the bridge between God's Promises and their fulfillment in Christ."
